GuitarVoyage basically consists of 2 sections, both of which are accessible from the top navigation:
- A songs section where you can buy individual song lesson videos. New songs are regularly added to the songs collection.
- An all-access membership section where you can log in to access ALL GuitarVoyage lessons, which includes those songs as well. The lessons are organized in 14 categories.
New lessons are added every week. The lessons include downloadable transcriptions, chord charts, lesson pdfs, practice instructions and backing tracks wherever applicable.

The Lessons
Contact us if you get stuck with something on guitar or if you can’t find a video that teaches something you always wanted to learn. GuitarVoyage is the only (as far as we know of) guitar lesson site where its members can request lesson videos that cover or target their specific musical goals or hang ups.
If you have a certain song you always wanted to learn, or a certain guitar technique or concept you are stuck with, or anything about songwriting or music-related that you need help with, send us a request to create a lesson video that is custom tailored to target your specific area of interest. We will send you a notification with the URL when your custom lesson video posts on GuitarVoyage.
Non-members can request custom lesson videos too, and will be able to access their video simply by signing up for a one-month membership. This gives unlimited access for a month to the requested custom lesson as well as everything GuitarVoyage has to offer.
If you don’t hear back from us after posting a request, this is usually an indication that GuitarVoyage already has a lesson that teaches what you are requesting.
The short answer is “yes, you will.”
GuitarVoyage dedicates a starter lesson package to complete beginners. Many students who go all-in on GuitarVoyage’s beginner class, have reported they could play over a 100 songs in ONE week of playing, even if they had never touched a guitar before.
Conversely, many of the top-level advanced students who study with Vreny to improve specific areas in their playing that need attention, report being challenged by the drills and seeing instant improvement.
Lastly, a large collection of the lessons target intermediate level skills and knowledge, gradually elevating the musicianship of intermediate level guitarists to whatever advanced level they strive to reach.
Most lessons are designed so that everyone at any level gets something out of the lesson. I have seen students who were at intermediate level successfully perform certain specific drills that advanced guitarists struggled with. Meanwhile, top-level musicians understand the value of regularly revisiting the fundamentals and keeping the basics in check.
Each player, regardless of their level, have certain unique hang ups or gaps in their knowledge which they can improve on at any given time.
Everything can always be better, or faster, or more expressive, no matter how good one already is. Moreover, as members learn on GuitarVoyage, many musical concepts that you typically only hear really advanced musicians play, surprisingly are often very simple and easy to play.

Pricing & Payment
Memberships can be purchased monthly or annually. Monthly access is $19. The annual membership is $159 and provides unlimited access to all lessons and new video packages as they launch. This includes access to high-definition videos and downloadable learning materials, backing tracks, work books, and practice result trackers.
During your 7-Day Free Trial, you have unlimited access to all lessons, classes, downloadable workbooks and backing tracks. You can cancel at any time during that 7-day period free of charge. After your 7-day free trial ends, your card will automatically be charged.
If you want to cancel past the 7-day free trial, your membership would still be charged for the plan you signed up for but would not renew at the start of the next billing cycle. Please note that there aren’t refunds for partially unused membership periods.
